In order to examine whether CNP goes through systemic feedback legislation, we investigated blood CNP levels and neighborhood CNP appearance in several tissues, including cartilage, of 4-week-old rats after systemic administration of sufficient levels of exogenous CNP (0.5 mg/kg/day) for 3 times.
